01Accepting these terms

By using clicktest.world you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the site. You do not need an account, so simply opening and using a test is how agreement is given.

02What the service is

clicktest.world provides free browser based input speed tests, including spacebar speed, clicks per second, typing speed, reaction time and scroll speed. The service is provided as it is, without any guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.

We may add, change, rename or remove tests and pages at any time. We may also change the rank thresholds if the community conventions they are based on change.

03Scores are for entertainment and self-comparison

Results depend on your keyboard, mouse, browser, display refresh rate, operating system settings and current focus. Two runs on different hardware are not directly comparable.

Nothing on this site is a medical, psychological, diagnostic or employment assessment. Reaction time in particular is a rough game measurement and must not be used to evaluate fitness to drive, to work, or to judge any health condition. If you are worried about your reflexes or coordination, speak to a qualified professional.

04Acceptable use

You agree to use the site in ways that do not damage it or ruin it for anyone else. Specifically, you must not:

• Use scripts, macros, auto-clickers, bots or modified clients to generate scores and then present them as human results.
• Attempt to overload, scrape at abusive rates, probe, or otherwise interfere with the site or its infrastructure.
• Click on advertisements artificially or encourage others to do so, since this violates our advertising provider’s policies as well as these terms.
• Republish the site as your own, or remove attribution while copying substantial parts of it.

05Your data and your scores

Your scores, personal bests and history are stored in your own browser, not on our servers. You are responsible for that data. Clearing your browser storage, switching devices or using private browsing will lose it, and we cannot recover it for you.

Shared challenge links contain only the score you chose to share. Do not treat a shared link as a verified record.

06Advertising and third party links

The site is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense, and it may also link to third party websites. We do not control the content of ads or of external sites and we are not responsible for them. Any transaction you enter into with an advertiser is between you and that advertiser.

07Intellectual property

The design, layout, written explanations, test logic and branding of clicktest.world belong to us. You are welcome to link to any page, share result cards, and quote short passages with credit. You may not copy the site wholesale, sell it, or present it as your own product.

08Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including lost score history, wear on your input devices, or decisions you make based on a test result. The tests involve rapid repeated movement; stop and rest if you feel any discomfort or pain.

09Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows the latest revision, and continuing to use the site means you accept the update. Questions about these terms can go to [email protected].
